Application for Withdrawal Lump Sum Japanese Pension Refund

If any foreigners who had been a member of Japanese Pension Insurance for
6 months or longer has returned home without receing any pension benefits,
he or she may receive a withdrawal lump sum pension refund upon request,
which should be submitted within 2 years after leaving Japan. Upon payments
of the lump sum, the insured period of enrollment corresponding to the
paid amount will be nullified and it disqualifies you to converse your pension for the specified period of time
in the countries such as the United Kingdom and Germany, that have the
Pension Agreement with Japan. The same issue will be applied for some countries that are in the
process of the conclusion of the Pension Agreement with Japan. If you are
a citizen of the above mentioned countries, please be aware of this issue
when applying for the lump-sum. The amount of lump sum is calculated according to the period of premium
payment and the rate is shown in the following table.
Our handling fee for the application is \25,000 or US$250 regardless of the amount of lump sum.
